WHAT HEADLESS MEANS

Odoo to manage,
a custom website to sell.

In a classic Odoo website, management and page rendering are done by the same software. Convenient, but pages are heavy, design is constrained by themes, and technical SEO has its limits.

With headless, the two are separated. Odoo remains the management "head": products, prices, stock, blog posts, pages, leads. The website is a modern web application (Next.js) that reads this data and displays it in a free design, with pages ready before the visitor even clicks.

The result: pages that load in under a second, complete technical SEO (tags, structured data, sitemap, redirects, language versions), and no double entry. A contact request or a download creates a lead directly in your Odoo CRM.

What is a headless website?

It is a website whose display is separate from the management tool. Content and data stay in Odoo, and the website, built with modern web technology (Next.js), reads them to display fast, custom pages.

Can I keep managing content in Odoo?

Yes. Blog posts, products, prices, stock and forms are still managed in Odoo. Requests sent from the website arrive in your Odoo CRM.

Is a headless website better for SEO?

It provides a very solid technical base: fast pages, complete tags and structured data, controlled sitemap and redirects, clean language versions. Content still matters most, but the website is no longer holding you back.

What happens to my old URLs during the redesign?

Every old URL is redirected with a 301 to its new page, and removed pages leave the sitemap. You keep the rankings you have earned.

Is headless suitable for an online shop?

Yes. Catalogue, prices and stock come straight from Odoo. If you prefer to keep Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop, our connectors link your shop to Odoo.
